3 Posters Drafts
today was really fun!! we were asked to create a poster (3 in total) to correspond what our tutor said to us. the first one was a personal one, the second a professional one and the last one was us as a superhero.
i really really enjoyed this task and i think i went with it and tried to not act too serious. when i saw other people being quite serious and professional i thought SACK THAT i wanna have fun and show my personality through drawings and words. i think i successfully did this.

inspiration: charlotte mei
today we had one of the best big heads (in my opinion) that we've had so far! i am so inspired by this woman !!! she is super uber cool and her work is too. i really like her aesthetic and it's something that i really look up to and would really like to achieve one day.
one of the things that i took away from this big heads is that they have exhibitions in japan. THIS IS SO COOL. i love japan and everything about it and i didn't really know that it had such a rad illustration scene. this makes me so excited for the future because japan is somewhere i would love to live one day and to know that i can make my living as an illustrator is really exciting and happy.

inspiration: mall licudine
mall licudine is someone that i have followed for a very long time. her artwork is so inspiring to me. she uses different methods within her artwork, from painting and drawing to using tape to create images.
i really love how she has a different style and aesthetic to what is normal and i love how she shared her struggle with us, not knowing where to go with her style. she didn't know what she wanted her work to be like, but she carried on doing it and in the end is really grateful for every step of the way.

i especially love it when she does her work on wooden boards! she uses gouache and acrylic to make her colours really vibrant. it really looks like it's photoshopped onto the wood instead of painted on! i would love to try this out one day.

inspiration: cyarine
bcyarine, aka laura brouwers, is an illustrator from the netherlands. i have been following her on instagram for a long time and i think her artwork is so beautiful and inspiring to so many people (over 200k on instagram!!)
she does helpful tips on youtube which help with people trying to learn how to digitally draw and these have helped me a lot in the past when i've tried to tackle drawing digitally.
here are some of her drawings!
